Michael

As Co-Owner and CFO, Michael encourages a healthy business acumen of seeking out new
revenue streams by innovating and delivering new and improved services. He believes that this innovation is what secures One Contact’s current and future success. He is highly focused on meeting client’s expectations.
Both customers and the team at One Contact know that they can always rely on his professional opinion and his creative way of thinking.
Michael has spent the last 22 years immersed in technology since starting his degree in Computer Applications in Dublin City University in 1998. His progression to management followed in 2006 where he co-founded Wireless Connect Broadband where still plays an active management and strategic direction role.
Hobbies: As a relatively new dad, most of his free time is consumed pandering to his 2 year old son Ethan. But in time he hopes to reignite his younger self’s appreciation of the outdoors, dust down his old fishing rods and head off to catch the one that got away.
Likes: Anything that saves time, so that he can binge it all on Netflix and HBO boxsets!
Dislikes: Olives, pickles and waiting on deliveries, online shopping is great, but incredibly frustrating when a delivery time of several weeks appears at the last-minute during checkout… grrrr…

Fergus has 30+ years in the Telecoms arena. Always putting the customer first and foremost is Fergus’s moto and this has a gained him a large customer following. His resourceful and lateral thinking allow Fergus to accomplish even the most challenging of projects. In the office he smooths over any disagreements his weekly delivery of fresh doughnuts.
Hobbies: Long walks at the beach, traveling, history books, and babysitting.
Likes: Rolls Royce, Friday night chicken curry, and happy customers.
Dislikes: Spicy chicken fillet rolls, cabbage, and time wasting

Tom

Tom is from Roscrea, Co Tipperary. Educated in Cistercian College Roscrea. Tom has been interested in science and engineering from and early age, he loves to solve problems and make things more efficient. Tom grew up on a farm and was always excited when a project was happening where Telecoms, washing machine engineers, mechanics and builders would visit.
Tom credits his abilities as an engineer and a problem solver to his family kindly supplying him with books on a wide range of topics and the engineers and trades people visiting showing him and (extreme) patience in answering the millions of questions he would ask :). Tom got his first problem solving breaks in helping his parents on the farm and his brother with his horticulture business. Tom brings to the team experience, attention to detail, technical ambition and knowledge to deliver best in class solutions for clients.
Hobbies: Working on projects with OpenBSD, DIY, Cycling (about twice a year let’s face it ), Political volunteering, We can only reach as high as our elected representatives can see, so help the public choose the right ones.
Likes: Spending time with his cool children Sophie and Danny. Solving problems elegantly and with attention to detail…trying to make computers and networks faster and more secure. Public Speaking, helping others by sharing knowledge and information with them. Comedians taking comedy to the edge :), satire, ambitious visionary politics. People who think critically.
Dislikes: Lack of attention to detail, lack of effort, cynical politics, cancel culture. comfortable consensus that holds all of us back from our true potential.

Gerard

Gerard Healy hails from the beautiful village of Moygownagh County Mayo. As well as being talented and tough footballer he also has a Masters in Electronic Engineering from DCU. Ger is a very versatile engineer taking deployments from a design on a piece of paper, to CAD models to fabricating parts to deliver Site Build projects on time. We are fortunate to have Ger delivering sites using the full range of his talents and skills through his oversight of the Mechanical, Electrical and RF engineering design, and implementation on all sites. Ger is responsible for training, support, and management of customer service colleagues.
Hobbies: He has an impressive workshop and has turned out some interesting side projects such as a Gaelic Football launcher which he uses to punt footballs back at him when he is training. He is currently working on auto steering system for a Tractor to help his brothers on the family farm.
Likes: He likes to keep fit and does a good job of it playing Gaelic Football.
Dislikes: Anyone slagging off his beloved Mayo (the county not to condiment).

Paul attends to any customers who may have a problem regarding the technical side of our broadband service. He fine tunes connections to achieving the fastest speeds possible for that customer. He enjoys dealing with the public and it shows in his soft, efficient, and very pleasant manner.
Paul loves his job, and his aim is to make sure every customer is looked after and ends the phone call feeling that their problem was resolved to a very high standard. Any IT company would love to clone Paul!
Hobbies: Soccer, short walks, and watching Netflix.
Likes: Paul loves being a daddy to his two beautiful children, watching soccer, going on holidays, and days out with his pals.
Dislikes: Getting wet in the rain, Liverpool and when he does not get out with his pals.

Bio:
Zen is a highly skilled and talented field engineer with over 6 years’ experience in planning, installing, commissioning, and maintaining wireless broadband. Having previous sales experience in prior roles brings an added value to this role. Always willing to learn and gain more experience where necessary to improve his knowledge of Wireless Connect. Exceptional customer service skills that he is passionate in providing the best service possible to all existing and new customers.
Hobbies: Restoring classic cars, socialising, attending sporting events and most important of all installing broadband
Likes: A dedicated family man who also enjoys socialising with friends and attending sporting events when he has free time.
Dislikes: When customers are unhappy. He always strives to give excellent service and will go above and beyond to achieve this.

As an installer, Peter is the 1st face to face point of contact with our new customers. He completes installations and provides ongoing support to current clients; he also helps to maintain base stations. Peter is a friendly dependable employee who can adapt to all environments.
Hobbies: Going to festivals and concerts, travelling to new places in Ireland and abroad, watching sport.
Likes: Socialising with friends and travelling the globe.
Dislikes: Lack of planning on tasks as he believes preparation is the key to a productive days work.

Bio:
Jarek has worked with One Contact for over 4 Years and has over 8 years’ experience working with customers in IT support. Jarek, otherwise known as “Jarek the Viking” due to his noteworthy Viking style beard has a passion for all things Technology.
Strangely, for an IT wizard he has an incredible gift for customer service. We regularly receive compliments from customers on Jarak’s attentive and patient approach to solving their problems.
His work colleagues regard highly his knowledgeable and more importantly openly helpful attitude when we are bouncing technical challenges around the office.
Hobbies: Computers and Technology are a constant of interest to Jarek, from building his first PC in his early teens to completing self-designed smart home entertainment system Jarek is never off duty when it comes to Tech.
Likes: Vinification, recently Jarek regarded himself as a bit of a vintner. He set about a project of brewing a large quantity of wine. We are all still awaiting a sample to be brought to the office!!!
Dislikes: Shopping Centres, Hard cold butter and pineapple on pizza–it’s just not how the Italians intended it!

Razvan otherwise known as Raz to his colleagues is an ambitious young man with a thirst for knowledge. He is with the company three years now and has taken on the mantle of CCTV specialist. He is involved in new product development and deployment. Raz is a self-motivating member of staff who greatly enhances the support division of One Contact.
Hobbies: Technology testing – Electronics Restoration.
Likes: New hair styles, watches & shoes.
Dislikes: Waiting in queues – the cold weather – when you order food and they forget something.

Sarah is well organised and experienced in Management, her work in One Contact is vital to organise supplies for the office, payable and receivable day by day invoices. Sarah also looks after Management of the HR for both companies. She has great communication skills, very efficient. Sarah is always with good humour.
Hobbies: Filling Freight Containers with Alibaba purchases.
Likes: Sarah like to dance and travelled around the world.
Dislikes: Sarah doesn’t like fake people or work-outs!

Bio:
Ronald is a Service Delivery Manager with extensive experience in negotiating with clients and strong relationships with colleagues as his Management experience has allowed him to develop a team-leading skill, which also gives him a massive skill for managing logistics between people and service.
He is giving the best of himself to get the opportunity to grow and show more of his potential day-by-day. He is dynamic, proactive and has logical thinking, and works well in team management.

David Megan, our Account Manager, has many years’ experience in sales and account management. David’s possesses a diverse sales career, including time spent in the food and beverage sectors before settling into the technology space. Demonstrating he enthusiasm and passion for all things Technology, he wins the confidence and thereafter the business of our SMB prospects. David’s time spent in DCU and the honours business degree achieved from NCI gave David the springboard to launch his career in sales. He believes that his relentless drive to learn new things and constantly build on his education is what keeps him ahead of the game.
